Ezra and Reilly at WorldSkills Tasmania

Two of our youngest tradies, Ezra Marshall and Reilly George, put their skills to the test at the WorldSkills Tasmanian Regional Sheet Metal Technology competition, with Ezra bringing home a bronze medal.

Hosted at TasTAFE’s Alanvale Campus, the competition brought together seven learners and apprentices for a full day of practical work. Competitors were assessed against rigorous WorldSkills standards, testing their technical knowledge, precision and attention to detail.

It was a chance for Ezra and Reilly to challenge themselves alongside other talented young tradespeople from across Tasmania, putting their training and workshop experience into practice in a competitive environment.

The standard of work earned praise from TasTAFE Metals Teachers Simon Boarder and Troy Bester, who recognised the competitors’ understanding of their trade and the quality of what they produced.

Ezra’s bronze medal was a well-earned highlight for the Clark team. Gold went to Caylin Daley from Xanderware, with Talan Sherriff from Seba Sheetmetal taking silver.

We’re proud of both Ezra and Reilly for stepping up and representing Clark Metal Fabrication. Taking on a challenge like this is an achievement in itself, and it’s great to see our young tradespeople building their skills and confidence.

Congratulations to all seven competitors, and thank you to the teachers and organisers who made the event possible.

Well done, Ezra and Reilly. It’s good to have you on our team.
